I am a Life Coach and I help women say 'yes' to themselves.
I know what it means to live a life overwhelm, with people pulling on you from all directions. At one point, I was exhausted and worn-out from the stress of people constantly calling on me to meet their needs at their whim.
I learned a very valuable lesson in a very hard way. I became depleted physically, mentally and emotionally. I made a change which has paid off with dividends. Now, I walk others through their journey of self-love and living their life being who they decide they are and doing what they decide they want to do. 'Who' and 'what' are their decisions, not the decisions of others.
I have a long history of helping, advising and assisting people resolve their life issues. I have practiced law for over 30 years. I have self-published several books, created and presented workshops, been a keynote speaker for organizations and occasions, worked with nonprofit organizations, and volunteered in civic work for years but it is my work helping people transform their lives that thrills me the most.
Knowing when to say 'yes' is important in life. Knowing when to say 'no' is powerful. l regained a power and strength when I learned when and how to say, "no," in order to make myself my priority and establish boundaries that honor me.
With decades of varied experience, I know what women need to help them start a new life they love. I don't just know what to do, I love doing it! I enjoy meeting them where they are and walking them through their transition and leaving them better than they were when I met them.
I am a trained and certified Rapid Results Coach through the Rapid Coaching Academy. Trained in mediation, I am highly skilled in facilitating favorable outcomes.
My personal story, my varied experiences and my training all come together to help others, at a critical time in life, say "yes" to themselves. I help them decide who they are, what they want and create a plan for creating the life they want.
Outside my passion for coaching and supporting women, I love nature and everything outdoors, being physically active, and cooking as I consider myself somewhat a master in the kitchen. I am an author of personal development and other self-help books, a social justice activist and an animal rescuer.
Through Coaching with Carol, Some of the Results Possible Include ...

What Others Are Saying ...
"I went from feeling like I had no hope with no education and no job skills to provide for myself and my four children to being a supervisor for a major healthcare system and earning my bachelors degree in business leadership. With Carol as my coach, I provided for myself and my four children while getting a college degree and job skills. I was able to accomplish all this from, "nothing," all because Carol taught me how to no longer be scared or worried and how to create a fulfilling life that supported me and my children. I have so much peace now and I love my life!"

Good to Know
The Legalities
Life can be complicated but, honestly, it really does not have to be. With some helpful information and the right assistance, any circumstance can become less overwhelming. Granted. The law can be intimidating but that's primarily because most of it represents the unknown for most people. This is where the helpful information and assistance can make all the difference.
People tend to fear most that which they do not understand. Experience has shown me that the very thing people fear is the very thing they avoid. The irony is that preparation is what virtually removes the fear out of the equation. The only way to be prepared for anything is to confront the issues before you.
Having a consultation with a lawyer to present a set of circumstances in order to learn of options available to best address or prepare for those circumstances is always a good idea. This holds true no matter what the legal issues are. "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." The laws across the state of Georgia make no allowance for not knowing the law so getting an expert opinion before any conflicts arise or escalate, makes it possible to develop a plan and take action in a timely and efficient manner.
There are some incidents for which only a small percentage of the population will need legal representation. The need for a criminal lawyer, for example, is not a common life experience. There are certain measures every adult, however, should take. Virtually every person of the age of majority should have those legal documents executed which are appropriate for meeting her estate planning needs. It's good to know what these common issues are. For a summary of the legal documents which should be of interest to virtually everyone, click here.
Best Foot Forward
Adults talk about the need to put their best foot forward. This just one of the pearls of wisdom parents bestow upon their children. In fact, parents often advise their children to make good first impressions when they meet people. Making good impressions is a common concern when interviewing for a job. Particularly for a member of the younger generation, the anxiety of that first job interview can be a little unnerving. What does that unconditionally loving, wise parent say, "Honey, just be yourself and you will do fine." Words of wisdom -- and love!
My BFF, Inc. not only shares in the essence of such sentiment but sees the sentiment of being one's self as just the beginning of ultimate personal development. We truly believe being one's best self is the best foot forward that will carry the individual through any experience and be the greatest asset as a BFF.
Freedom for All
Practically everyone talks about the importance of education. Usually the "education" at issue is formal education. The acknowledgement of the need for formal learning is granted. There is even a good - a very good - argument that today's society cannot place enough emphasis on formal education. The necessity of education, however, does not end in the classroom or the acquisition of a diploma or degree.
Most classrooms or schools of thought in institutionalized settings support presenting content that is expected to be grasped and accepted as truth and, then, communicated back to the instructor in exchange for a rating on the level of grasp.
The New Freedom Train is built on the premise that true freedom comes as a consequence of honoring one's self. This means developing independent thoughts and opinions. Those thoughts and opinions might be unpopular but it does not matter if they represent truth for you. Surely, there is no coincidence that this concept has biblical roots in John 8:32. The idea is quite simple. Being true to self will leave no room for regret. How do we honor our own truth while respecting others'?
Easy. Take positive action. Leave negative action to someone else. The New Freedom Train is a movement for good. A movement for progression which honors what respects you. If you come aboard The New Freedom Train, you are simply taking a stand for yourself. Take a moment to learn who we are and what we do to facilitate change for the good of all concerned.
