LIFE BEGINS OUTSIDE OUR COMFORT ZONES

Introduction

They say that life begins outside our comfort zones.

I always knew and believed wholly in this concept. Sometimes, the reminder shows up in the form of an unexpected gift and awakens me as though I made a new discovery.

In this article, I want to share my story of incredible personal experiences and growth that unfolded when I embraced the willingness to learn tech on more complex levels, used social media as a platform for sharing, and fearlessly connected with strangers from around the world. 

These choices unlocked doors to cherished relationships that have forever enriched my life.

 1. A journey of personal growth can spring from an uncomfortable stretch.

The internet does not have to be a playground for negative activity but a space where I can inspire and empower others while staying true to myself. 

When I decided to expand my reach for coaching, teaching and consulting, becoming more tech-savvy seemed like a distasteful and daunting task. However, my willingness to learn and adapt opened up a whole new world of possibilities. 

Being honest, I must say, my dislike of social media and all the nonsense and harmfulness I find in its existence still remains. My beliefs about social media do not change because my values do not change regardless of what others do.

But my commitment to inspire women extends to doing that which comes with the territory. If this means including social media to extend my hand to you and other amazing women, then I will show up within the confines of my values. 

This is how I accept what I cannot change while participating with boundaries that align with who I am. 

 
2. I discovered an avenue to reach and connect with a diverse and inspiring community of individuals.  

Social media has become more than just a digital landscape to me; it is a place where I show up authentically, share my story, and connect. 

Through heartfelt posts and genuine interactions, I attracted a community of like-minded individuals who resonate with my messages. 

As a result of stepping outside – and I do mean far, far outside – my comfort zone, a population of women have found their way to me. We have found our way to each other. For this I am truly, truly grateful because my entire purpose is to connect, to inspire and to change some lives for the better!

Now, beautiful women trust me enough to show up in my email community, allowing me to share more with them. And it gets even better than this! The women I am able to help on a one-on-one basis is so warm and humbling. 

And to think … my willingness to dive into growing my knowledge and skillset in all things tech and internet related opened up a new and more fulfilling life for me. 
 
 
3. Accepting life’s challenges can lead to unexpected discoveries and gifts. 

In addition to helping some really incredible women, one of the most remarkable aspect of this journey has been the relationships I've formed with people from around the globe.

Breaking down geographical barriers, I connected with individuals who shared similar passions, dreams and values. Our conversations transcend borders, cultures and time zones, weaving a tapestry of relationships that touch my heart and broaden my perspective.

What started as chance encounters with strangers quickly evolved into transformative coaching relationships. I have the privilege of walking alongside individuals on their own paths of growth and self-discovery.

Witnessing their progress and supporting their dreams bring immense joy and fulfillment to my life. 


4. A Beautiful Mind

My client who shared the story of Dr. Nash with me represents the kind of surprise gift I never saw coming. 

She exemplifies the strong, intelligent and amazing "gift-to-the-world" woman I envisioned when I set out on this coaching and teaching journey. 

Stepping outside my comfort zone, embracing technology, social media, and global connections have truly transformed my life.

The personal experiences and growth that have unfolded have been immeasurable. This absolutely includes the enriching experiences I have with my peers. Embracing the unknown in Georgia led to my forging a cherished friendship in New Mexico.

The warmth of these relationships, the wisdom shared, and the collective support have created a profound sense of belonging and a treasured tribe. I am forever grateful for the opportunities, connections, and personal growth that have enriched every aspect of my life.

The willingness to learn technology, engage on social media, and connect with strangers opened doors to cherished relationships and personal experiences that have forever shaped my journey. 

Embracing the digital realm and fearlessly reaching out to connect has allowed me to form soulful relationships and guide others on their own paths of growth.
